On April 27, the founding meeting of the Business Club at the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Hungary took place.

The Business Club was created to ensure regular informal interaction between representatives of business and official circles of Russia and Hungary in order to exchange information on the current state of bilateral economic cooperation.

The meeting was attended by Pavel Ilin, Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Hungary, Sergei Morozov, Deputy Trade Representative, Alexander Merezhko, Business Ambassador to Hungary from Business Russia (All-Russia Public Organization), István Szekeres, President of the Hungarian-Russian Committee of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Igor Maynitskiy, Director General of Panrusgas Gas Trading Plc.

Alexander Merezhko was elected the Chairman of the Business Club.

The next general meeting is scheduled for June-July 2021.
