In order to prepare for a possible exacerbation of the pandemic situation, the Hungarian government has made a bet on the country's full self-sufficiency in PPE equipment. In this regard, Mihály Varga, Minister of Finance, announced the allocation of 50 billion forints (about 160 million dollars at the current exchange rate) to subsidize the domestic production of PPE equipment.
